Excess pore pressure on the native 0.5 m MPM background grid (view 0–120 m of the 240 m domain, no vertical exaggeration). All 47 published frames are retained in order; replay timing is a web presentation aid and the in-frame “sim t” clock is the recorded simulation time. No motion interpolation was added.

Excess pore pressure is cell-averaged on the solver's own 0.5 m background grid. The colour scale is anchored at the 60 kPa threshold; the 32 m value is the recorded final deposit front, defined by the furthest grid column holding at least 1 m of material above the terrace.

Every published frame remains in source order. The MP4 adds no motion interpolation; its playback clock is presentation time and the in-frame “sim t” clock is simulation time. Read the render receipt (new tab) and transcode receipt (new tab).

Evidence boundary

Recorded scenario. The two runs use the same overconsolidated clay slope, engine and settings. Only the warming ramp changes. The 60 kPa crossing and 32 m run-out belong to this scenario.

Figure and timing. Excess pore pressure is shown on the native 0.5 m grid under a threshold-anchored colour scale. The “fails” verdict appears from the frame that records the crossing at sim t = 12 s; “holds” appears in the terminal frames. The 47-frame encode preserves order and adds no motion interpolation.

Method checks. The analytic oedometric K₀ check and the Bui (2008) rod-collapse and Lube (2005) column-collapse comparisons remain separate method evidence.

Platform architecture. An implicit core handles transient coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical response; an explicit material-point method handles collapse and run-out. This recorded comparison is not field validation of a specific landslide site.
